Conference program now available
You will find the full conference program here.
We have developed a range of diverse session styles so that you will have the opportunity to participate with panel discussions, long Q & A sessions, a mix of workshops and nice long lunch breaks for informal discussions and debates. The Spotlight stream runs throughout each day with an exciting mix of papers and workshops in a more informal, drop-in, style.
The program maintains a strong interest in public housing and housing affordability but recognising the diversity of housing issues we face in contemporary Australia and the new National Affordable Housing Agreement, it also focuses on homelessness, housing associations, planning and place making, economic efficiency of the housing system and matters of social and environmental wellbeing.
This e-Newsletter helps you plan your conference experience to ensure that you get to the sessions that most interest you. Note that session codes starting with W are on the Wednesday, those starting with T are on Thursday and so on.

The private sector role in housing
Don't miss the opportunity to hear Victorian Treasurer, John Lenders MP, and a panel of experts debate the opportunities and challenges in housing investment and delivery for the private and not-for-profit sectors.
The Business Breakfast on Friday 27 November will be led by our guest facilitator and leading SBS journalist, Jenny Brockie.
The morning will focus on Delivering economic and social objectives through housing: new opportunities, new challenges and new partnerships for the private sector, with an interactive panel discussion and audience Q&A. This is a special opportunity for the private, government and not-for-profit sectors to share views and ideas on housing investment and delivery.
This special event is being sponsored by VicUrban and promises to be a lively and informative start to the final day of the conference. Register now!
A big thank you to our sponsors and exhibitors
The conference organisers are extremely grateful to the large number of government, not-for-profit and private sector organisations who are conference sponsors or exhibitors.
The 6th National Housing Conference is a major event which means that the support of these organisations will be recognised by over 1100 delegates.
The 'exhibition village' will be a vibrant part of the event and delegates are encouraged to visit all the booths.
Without this significant support a major conference like this would be difficult to stage.
