AFIF 2013 CONFERENCE

The AFIF Conference Committee and Board are delighted to announce details for the AFIF 2013 Conference to be held in Canberra from the 15 - 17 May.

 

The conference will be taking place only days after the Federal Budget is handed down - so Canberra will be in the spotlight and a hive of political activity.  However, Canberra has so much more to offer than just Parliament House.

 

Just a few short hours drive from Sydney, Canberra is full of fantastic experiences.  Canberra is celebrating its Centenary throughout 2013 so there will be festivals and events happening throughout the year.  The city has been 'under refurbishment' for some time to get ready for the celebrations - a perfect time for us to join the party!

 

The AFIF Board, Conference Committee and Conference Secretariat have spent many months talking with and listening to members, industry colleagues and sponsors.  Many ideas have been discussed and we are all looking forward to delivering a strong line-up of speakers and an interesting program next year. Changes to regulations relevant to our industry are being planned or delivered next year and we are taking the Conference closer to those people we need to hear from.
