Abstracts for the 17th International Conference on Photochemical Conversion and Storage of Solar Energy (IPSI7) are due on November 16th 2007. On-line abstract submission and instructions for authors are available via the IPS17 web site: http://www.ips17.com.

IPS17 is to be to be held in Sydney, Australia from July 27th to August 1st, 2008. It promises to be a memorable event marked by presentations from world leaders in their respective fields. Keynote speakers already confirmed include:

IPS17 will feature papers and presentations across a variety of areas associated with photochemical conversion and solar energy storage. Abstracts are currently sought that address the following topics:

- Photoinduced electron and energy transfer;
- Solar hydrogen;
- Molecular and nanostructured solar cells;
- Photocatalysis and environmental chemistry;
- Photosynthesis, hydrogenase and biomimetic systems;
- Photoelectrochemistry and new materials.
